Otology & Neurotology

Ear conditions, including trauma, cancer, and disorders of the nerve pathways, which affect hearing and balance.

This includes ear infections, otitis externa, loss of hearing, ear, face or neck pain, dizziness and tinnitus (ringing, whistling or ringing inside the ears).

Paediatric Ear Nose and Throat treatment

This area treats children with specific ENT conditions and, in particular, with congenital anomalies of the head and neck and developmental delays.

This includes ear infections (otitis media), infected tonsils and adenoids, upper airway disorders, Down’s syndrome, asthma, and allergies or sinus conditions.

Head and Neck

Cancerous and non-cancerous tumours of the head and neck, including of the thyroid and parathyroid. This includes tumours of the neck or thyroid and laryngeal cancer.

Aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery

Cosmetic, functional and reconstructive surgery for irregularities of the face and neck.

This includes deviated septum, rhinoplasty (nose surgery), facelift, cleft palate, ptosis (drooping of the upper eyelid) and hair loss.

Rhinology

Conditions affecting the nose and sinuses.

This includes sinus problems, nosebleeds, nasal congestion and loss of smell.

Laryngology

Throat conditions, such as speech disorders and problems with swallowing.

This includes angina, hoarseness, swallowing disorders and gastroesophageal reflux.

Allergies

Treatment involves drugs, immunotherapy (desensitization using injections), and/or preventing exposure to pollen, dust, mold or foods, as well as treatments for any other hypersensitivity affecting the ear, nose and throat.

This includes hay fever, seasonal or persistent rhinitis, chronic sinusitis, laryngitis, tonsillitis, otitis media and dizziness.
